Admissions

St. Roch admits students from diverse backgrounds throughout the St. Louis area, provided they meet the school’s qualifications.


Criteria

St. Roch admits students without discrimination on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin. All students have the same rights and privileges and have access to all programs and activities.

Parents/guardians enrolling their students in St. Roch are expected to support the mission of the school, volunteer for school activities, participate in school fundraisers, and comply with school policies.

Any student applying for admission to St. Roch must meet with the principal to discuss his or her desire to attend and reason for transferring if applicable.

Any student admitted to St. Roch is subject to a one-year probationary period to determine if the school can satisfy the individual needs of the student and if the student can comply with the school rules.

According to Archdiocesan guidelines, children admitted to Kindergarten must be five years old on or before August 1st of the year the student will be enrolled. 


Registration Timeline

St. Roch Open House on the last Sunday in January serves as the kickoff for the registration period.

Registration at all grade levels is offered first to current school families, including siblings not currently attending St. Roch.

Parish families are invited to register students not currently attending St. Roch School.

Families outside the parish, Catholic and non-Catholic, are invited to register their students.


Registration Requirements

Completed St. Roch application form..

Copy of the student’s birth certificate and social security card.

Copy of the student’s baptismal certificate, first communion certificate, and confirmation certificate as applicable.

Updated immunization records.

Cumulative record of grades and attendance or a copy of the student’s preschool report.

Standardized test scores from all previous schools.

Any special needs evaluations, diagnostic reports, and current prescriptive accommodations from all previous schools.

In the case of divorced families, verification of custody arrangements must be provided.

Registration fee of $300 for preschool and $400 for Kindergarten through Eighth grade is required with the application. The registration fee is assessed per child and covers the book rental fee, consumable workbooks, and general teacher supplies for the classroom. Also included in the registration fee is a student activity fee that covers expenses for field trips and special events brought into the school for the enrichment of the students and the curriculum. Registration fees are nonrefundable.

Tuition

Tuition for kindergarten to eighth grade for one child is approximately $7075 for the 2024-25 school year. Discounts are offered to siblings and parishioners.

Preschool tuition ranges from $1,640 to $7,500 annually. Cost is dependent on the options each student requires, such as half-day (8:00-11:15)or full-day (8:00-3:15)and the number of days per week. Parishioners also receive a tuition discount.
